With The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals fast approaching, I am assembly line producing beaded bracelets to distribute at the show. Sometimes it's nice to give back to a community and feel truly involved and included.
This month's story is not about that.
But it is a stand-alone, so that's a nice treat for those who tire of the ongoing sagas. Velveteen next month, as we finish out the adventure.
Not very informative. As it turns out, it’s a story about a bogeyman, narrated in the first-person by the bogeyman itself. We find out what bogeymen are for, how they subsist, and where they come from. It features a little girl who in not afraid of the Bogeyman.
It’s a good story.
A warning for McGuire fans: the bogeyman of this story appears to be entirely different from the cryptids by that name in her Incryptid series. This one feels better thought out to me.
