Children of Blood and Bone

I read Children of Blood and Bone in 2018, not long after it came out. (To be precise, I purchased it on Amazon Kindle 30-Mar-2018, and probably began to read it immediately.)
The world-building was certainly original, and the story had those overall weird vibes that I like. But it was not ultimately something that I wanted to keep reading. I did not purchase any of the subsequent books in the series.
